In Need of Prayer...

Some of you may remember Joe and Amanda from back in March, when we did their engagement session.  They were scheduled to have their wedding next Saturday, but are having to post-pone it due to Amanda's treatments for cancer.  Not only is this disappointing for them because of the illness, it's disappointing because their wedding was only a week away.  

We ask that you join us in reaching out to them, by leaving encouraging comments either on this blog, or at their website and letting them know that we stand with them in the battle. 

Here's a note from the couple, taken from their wedding site...

"To our family and friends,

Most of you received our “Save the Date” a few months ago. Unfortunately, we will be postponing our wedding originally scheduled for July 12th, 2008.

Amanda recently began a new chemotherapy and has been dealing with the side effects of this aggressive medication. Because of this, we are going to use the months ahead to focus on her health and well being, as this has become our main priority. To us, our wedding does not need to be rushed because our love remains as strong as ever.

We would like to thank those of you who have offered your support thus far, and ask that you continue keeping us in your thoughts and prayers as we work on fighting this illness.
