Super Bowl Monday sales of antacids increase by more than 20% over other Mondays.
Eight percent of those watching will be tuning in just to see the ads.
Super Bowl XLI ads cost an average of just over $80,000 per second at $2.4 million for a 30 second spot.

How do you get a ticket to a Super Bowl? The tickets are distributed as follows:
AFC Champion - 17.5 percent
NFC Champion - 17.5 percent
Host Team (Dolphins) - 5.0 percent
Other 29 Teams - 34.8 percent
NFL - 25.2 percent
There are no public sales for tickets to the Super Bowl. If you are not so fortunate as to know someone within the NFL, all requests for the remaining available tickets (about 1% of total tickets available) are selected in a random drawing.

Host city economic impact: Super Bowl XL generated a total economic impact in Detroit of $261 million, according to a study commissioned by Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau.
