The Thankful Conclusion
So, here we are, finally back home where it feels good to be indoors with our Thanksgiving trip at it's conclusion. It's blizzard-like outside, and I can feel drafts of arctic wind on my feet. Someone left a door open somewhere. Isn't it funny how, when someone opens the door in winter, it feels as though the entire house has dropped about 30 degrees?
After our trip, there are some things we are thankful for:
Safe travels... Cooperative children... Rest areas... Iowa's gas prices... Debit cards... Starbucks... Turkey cookers... VeggieTales videos & travel DVD players... Friends along the way who let us spend the night... heaters... and family that gets along with each other.

Did you win?
My dad and I crushed Jodi and my mom in this round. Two ways to play... Set partners=rook high. Called partners=rook low, or 10.5. This was the latter.
