Family: Kauffman

The Kauffman family has been friends of ours for a long time now, and although they live in Ohio, we have managed to keep at least some sort of connection with them. When I was dating Jodi, and traveling from PA to Iowa I would often stop at Kenton's house and hang out for the evening. Anyway, now we both have families of our own, and it was awesome to have them in Iowa for a visit and some family pictures. They have an adorable little girl, the newest addition to the family, and a non-stop little fella with the cutest smiles!

In other news, after a remarkable 17 yr football career, Brett Favre retired this week.  Arguably one the most fun players to watch, he was certainly in my top 5 of the best quarterbacks to play the game. Watching the Packers just won't the same without number 4 on the field, but football isn't life and everyone moves on at some point. Best wishes to Brett and his family!  Next stop:  NFL Hall of Fame.
