The story began when Cody was working in the meat department of a local grocery store, and a pretty girl buying Co-Jack cheese caught his eye. As it turns out, he had already caught her eye, and it was no accident that she was there buying from him again. They struck up a conversation and the rest is history!
Fast forward to today... Kelli + Cody are planning their wedding for next October, and wanted a photo shoot that reflected the way they met each other. So, Cody pulled some strings with his former manager at the North Liberty Fareway, and we were allowed to have the store to ourselves an hour before it opened for the day. It was so cool to shoot in the very aisles where the story of Kelli + Cody began....
To personalize the session even more, they got an old pickup truck that belonged to Kelli's grandpa who recently passed away, an old tandem bicycle from Kelli's other grandpa, and a bunch of pumpkins from the family pumpkin patch!

I'm so glad you found each other! The labor of love that went into fixing up Granpa's truck and bicycle, WOW! The photographer really captured what was in your hearts. Almost Mother-In-Law Terry B.

That was really cool of Myron. I used to work at Fareway as a bagger in 2000, you look familiar.
