    Love is in the air!

.Okay, so Jodi's eye has recovered, and we're all much happier this way. It's one of those things that we're really glad it didn't happen to the bride, or groom, cos that would be a lot of retouching!

    .ENGAGEMENTS

These couples were so much fun to work with!! Engagement sessions are fun, because of the anticipation in the air. We offer these engagement sessions free as our way of saying Congratulations! to the happy couple.

    Hello Again

Oh my, look at the time. Wow, we have been so busy this week, that I haven't had a chance to update the blog. There are several sets of pictures to post, but I will wait yet another few days.

Funny story, though. Yesterday, we were capturing a wedding for Andrew and Makenna, and while taking pictures outdoors, a bug, or something bit or stung Jodi in the eye. Over the course of the evening her eye lids swelled up very noticably. Today, we're at another wedding and she is feeling a bit self-concious. :) *editors note: it was an insect I promise, I did not have anything to do with her swollen eye*

    Till next time.

    Laurent and Sharla

.What a fun couple! We had a great time at this wedding, and got to dip our feet in a different culture just a bit. The groom is from France, as you may have guessed, and so the entire wedding was translated. I have to learn that language! It sounds smart. I need to sound smart. One other cool thing about this couple is that they shared their first kiss at the altar after being pronounced husband and wife. How awesome is that?!

I have to throw this one in because these guys were hilarious.

    Rodney's Fun Facts
.DRIVING WHILE TEXTING. Washington state Gov. Christine Gregoire signed the nation’s first law to ban “D.W.T.” — driving while texting with a cellphone, BlackBerry or other mobile device. The penalty for D.W.T. is a $101 fine (the proposed fine in New Jersey is $250). But the crime is a secondary offense, meaning a driver must be pulled over for some more grievous infraction.

I can see you staring at this screen, and you are trying to simulate this face she is making. Go on, try it!! Don't hurt yourself in the process though!! I couldn't resist sharing this one.

    Spring is Here!

.Sorry I've been Pokey McPokebottom on the getting stuff on the blog recently. We have been working hard on getting senior grad cards to everyone who needs them, and it's been a long 2 weeks. But, we've been having fun seeing the seniors again as they come back to pick up the cards. We love high school kids, and it's been awesome to be part of leading our youth group at church. They have an amazingly different perspective on life than we adults do, you know? Their whole life is ahead of them, and we're in the middle of ours trying to figure out what we're doing!

.I found some sweet furniture the other day. It folds into a bed if you're having guests over, and you've got a small room.

. Interval Training New findings suggest that for at least one workout a week it pays to be both tortoise and hare — alternating short bursts of high-intensity exercise with easy-does-it recovery. Each approach offers similar health benefits: lower risk of heart disease, protection against Type 2 diabetes, and weight loss.
